Software Engineer -Full Stack

Work Model/Location: Hybrid/Framingham, MA

What you’ll be doing: 

You will be part of eCommerce team and partner with both business and technology teams to design and develop in-house data driven solutions for complex decision-making problems through systematic application of computer science, analytics, mathematical optimization, and machine learning as well as applying cutting edge technologies in the areas of eCommerce. Develop algorithms and applications from inception to implementation and collaborate across departments to productionize solutions.  Participate in the entire SaaS lifecycle driving adoption and scale applying best practices that drive agility and quality. Work closely with product management and program management to derive application requirements, set expectations, and communicate progress.  

What you bring to the table: 

  • Strong team player who fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

  • Proven experience in designing and building low-latency, highly scalable distributed systems. 
  • Ensure technical solutions adhere to best practices, maintainability, and reliability standards. 
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including iterative development, technical design, and code reviews. 
  • Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Java/Spring Boot for the backend and React with TypeScriptfor the frontend. 
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs, seamlessly integrating them with front-end components. 
  • Architect and deploy Micro Frontend (MFE) solutions for modular, scalable, and independent front-end applications. 
  • Hands-on experience with distributed databases such as Couchbase and MongoDB
  • Expertise in distributed messaging systems like Azure EventHub, Apache Kafka, and Solace
  • Skilled in building and optimizing production-grade data pipelines (both stream processing and batch) to support large-scale data analysis, modeling, and optimization. 
  • Continuously stay ahead of industry trends, evaluating and incorporating new technologies to enhance the tech stack. 

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, developing and maintaining scalable applications. 
  • 5+ years of hands-on programming experience in at least one modern language, such as Java or Python, along with expertise in Big Data frameworks like Spark or Kafka. 
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building applications with ReactJS/React Native using TypeScript. 
  • 5+ years of designing and developing highly reliable, fault-tolerant distributed systems, focusing on performance, scalability, and cloud-based architectures 

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications 

  • Proven experience taking an idea from inception to life with an ability to explore a variety of opensource technologies.  
  • Experience with developing, deploying, and launching software products on public cloud preferably Microsoft Azure.
