Director Digital Analytics & Experience

ApplyThe Director of Digital Analytics and Experimentation is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital analytics strategy that transforms our current approach with a focus on report automation, insights vs. data extracts, and partnership with our Digital Data partners to advance data democratization. This role involves managing a team dedicated to digital performance analysis, digital marketing activity, retail media network KPIs, digital testing and measurement, and mastery of digital analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.).
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive digital analytics strategy.
- Enable analysis of performance across digital platforms, digital marketing campaigns, and customer journeys.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives and their impact on business objectives and overall company strategy.
- Oversee the development of regular reports, dashboards, and presentations of key insights to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Communicate complex data analyses and insights in a clear and concise manner, with the ability to influence business decisions.
- Implement advanced analytics techniques (e.g., A/B testing, multivariate testing) to optimize digital marketing strategies.
- Present actionable insights to senior leadership, highlighting key trends, risks, opportunities, and trade-offs.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to optimize the collection, storage, and availability of digital performance data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy, and scalability.
- Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and data privacy laws.
- Identify opportunities for automation and improved efficiency within digital analytics operations.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or similar fields OR equivalent work experience.
Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in big brand and/or enterprise omnichannel retailers, sites with 300,000+ pages, eCommerce, mobile platforms, and extensive tagging/tracking knowledge of eCommerce analytics.
- Expert level knowledge of eCommerce analytics (Performance Marketing, SEO, Mobile) reporting, concepts and programs; Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics 360 preferred.
- Experience with developing and managing an Experimentation program - A/B testing, multivariate testing, incrementality testing, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization platforms – Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.
- Extensive experience leading teams of differing skill levels and backgrounds; strong ability to mentor and develop talent.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills, including interpersonal, reporting into senior leadership team, and formal presentation execution.
- B2B and B2C eCommerce experience.
- Working knowledge of project management software, such as Jira, Monday.com, Trello, etc.
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile development methodology.
