What you’ll be doing: 

As a member of the Product Content team, you will be part of the Merchandising organization, and will contribute directly to driving profitable sales. As a Product Content Specialist you will ensure our customers have a positive online experience by working to continually add to and improve our online product content on any of our websites.  To ensure best-in-class online product presentation, you will also work closely & directly with the Category Managers and the Key Suppliers who support these categories. 

  • Develop and maintain product content according to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product management, and design teams to ensure cohesive product messaging.
  • Assist in the implementation of content strategies to improve user experience and product visibility.
  • Analyze content performance metrics and make recommendations for optimization.
  • Support product content for all skus - this includes daily population of product and continual improvement of existing products within your assigned category
  • Support and publish on-time and best in class website product content to coincide with product launches, catalogs, flyers and online product promotions
  • Maintain product hierarchies, product attributes, cross-sell opportunities, keywords and more
  • Partner with Content Providers, Merchandising, Assortment Management, Marketing, and Product Vendors to gain product knowledge and improve site content
  • Work with Marketing, Merchandising, and Vendors to support online programs
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in your category for content 

What you bring to the table:

  • Deliver periodic and ad hoc reports for your category
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes 
  • Act as a point person for other teams regarding content issues
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  •  0-2 years of related experience in content development or product marketing.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with web content and Content Management Systems
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities, creative thinker, detail oriented and intrinsically motivated
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, prioritize workload, and deliver on-time
  • Merchandising, marketing or business management background preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
