What you’ll be doing:
- Create project plans, tracker, and process flow diagrams to improve organization, efficiency, clear communication and on time delivery
- Drive strategic partnerships with all relevant areas of Staples.com and Staples Advantage
- Work with key partners on the Staples Promotional Products sales teams on targeted initiatives to drive revenue for staplespromo.com
- Identify, build strategy for and drive execution on all non-media driven initiatives that occur off of staplespromo.com.
- Responsible for all business analysis of this channel. These insights drive optimization and identification of new opportunities to grow revenue.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams on an ongoing basis including stakeholders to ensure collaboration, efficient communication, project success and influence of results
- Independently ensure the successful implementation of projects including and managing timelines, scopes, budgets, communications, quality, issues, risks, critical paths, and resource constraints.
- Establishes prioritization, negotiates timelines, and keeps project plans up to date at all times.
- Monitor and measure project processes and activities to identify and communicate potential issues, risks or problems in a timely fashion and provide corrective action options and drive to resolution.
- Act as a thought leader to influence decisions to ensure optimal plans are designed and executed.
- Continuously evaluate and measure projects for business impact
- Develops and maintains a strategic position at multiple levels within staplespromo.com projects through effective meetings and solution-based presentations.
- Prepares and play a leadership role in regular business reviews (weekly, monthly, etc.). • Has the ability to identify and help launch / manage new opportunities.
- Provides clear direction and project management leadership to other cross functional departments in implementing and managing solutions for staplespromo.com, providing appropriate and timely internal and external communications.
- Create regular communication updates for organization, including US and Canada
- In partnership with the Director of eCommerce, play a lead role in contract renewals.
- Accountable for revenue generation as owner of the “Referral” sales channel for Staplespromo.com.
What you bring to the table:
- Proven ability to optimally collaborate to accomplish assignments with minimal direction, including strong capacity to partner, work horizontally and bring multiple resources together to accomplish shared goals
- Skillful at identifying opportunities and building trust and buy-in to drive and lead through change
- Effective communicator
- Adept in both oral and written communications and skillful in working in a matrix environment.
- Demonstrable experience in successfully devising and implementing systems and processes that enable significant growth and operational effectiveness
- Deep experience and demonstrated acumen in leading multi-faceted projects in complex and high-growth projects. Action and outcome oriented
- Demonstrable vision and strategic focus, with strong bias-for-action and proven ability to drive initiatives forward to successful conclusion, within identified deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive and performance-driven team culture; builds, develops, and retains working relationship to collaborate with high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to multi-task
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Lead in a learning and collaborative environment
- Work with the ecommerce team to ensure marketing and website efforts are aligned and to optimize lead generation and conversion
- Perform post project review and lessons learned Keep up to date on current e-commerce trends and opportunities
- Demonstrates strong team building attributes
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
- 5 plus years of experience as a project manager on ecommerce platforms
- Skilled in managing and optimizing ecommerce platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with digital analytics and associated tools (Google Analytics, Adobe, etc).
- Strong Project Management skills
- Proficient using Monday.com or other project management tools
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a business owner for elements of an eCommerce website (channel owner, conversion rate optimization, marketing, etc.)
- PMP certification
