What you’ll be doing:
- The HR Business Consultant plays a vital role in aligning business objectives with employees and management. This position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, communicating proactively with the HR department and business management to develop integrated solutions.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
- Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
What you bring to the table:
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
- Typically has 5 or more years of progressively complex related experience.
- Proven experience in HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressively complex related experience.
What’s needed- Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
- Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
- Experience in a global or multi-site environment.
