Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Manages Asset Protection initiatives and programs in Supply Chain locations related to inventory loss, theft, and fraud. 
  • Ensures appropriate internal risk controls are in place through the application of programs including data analysis, audits, training, and investigations. 
  • Manages the Asset Protection Associate teams responsible for front line security in FCs and other locations including, hiring, training, evaluating, and making discipline decisions. 
  • Oversee investigations, interviews, and incident management system (case disposition, prosecution, restitution, etc.) Managing first responder and critical response programs.
  • Implement programs designed to improve overall safe working conditions for the associates and reduce worker’s compensation costs. 
  • Ensures compliance to safety regulatory compliance, and training. 
  • Works with Risk Management to analyze accident data and develop corrective action strategies. 
  • Manage workplace violence mitigation programs. 
  • Manages the WC claims process, in the field, and ensures compliance to the Return-to-Work efforts. Participate as vital team member on major company projects.
  • Manages programs related to Physical Security including security systems (CCTV, Access Control, burglar alarm protection) and the C-TPAT program. 
  • Applies best practices, standards, and processes to achieve effective system operations, efficiencies, and savings. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum of 5-8 years progressive loss prevention experience with supervisory responsibilities. 
  • Experience in the successful implementation of Loss Prevention/Shortage/Fraud Control Programs.
  • Strong preference for certifications in Wicklander, OSHA 10-hour, and AED/CPR, LPC, LPQ, etc. 
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory, analytical, and decision-making skills.
