This intern position requires you to be in a hybrid working model (at least 3 days in the office, and 2 days remote) based at the Staples, Inc. Corporate Headquarters in Framingham, MA.
Target Start Date: June 2, 2025 - August 15, 2025 (11-week program)

What you’ll be doing:
- Assess and implement strategies to evaluate the Summer Internship Programs, aiming to improve the intern experience and ensure alignment with the changing demands of the industry
- Design a comprehensive onboarding plan for interns to facilitate a smooth transition
- Conduct research and develop informational materials (flyers) regarding housing and transportation for incoming interns at Staples, Quill, and SPP
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Marketing to integrate this information into the internship landing page
- Assist the university recruiting team in identifying opportunities for Fall recruitment and registering for upcoming events
- Responsible for leading the coordination of intern events (Professional Development Sessions, Coffee Chats, National Intern Day, Networking Opportunities, and Closing Ceremony)
How you’ll make an impact (Knowledge and Skills):
- Conduct Research: Identify similar companies with summer internship offerings to establish program structure, onboarding process, diverse mentorship programs, skill-building workshops, and opportunities for cross-functional collaboration
- Manage Intern Experience: Proactively communicate with students and manage content for the Internship Teams channel. Lead the coordination of the weekly development sessions and partnered with a cross-functional team to support the execution of National Internship Day and Closing Ceremony.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's in human resources, business, or related field. Enrolled as a full-time student carrying a minimum of 12 college credits.
- Must be a rising senior, graduating in May 2026
- Basic understanding of recruitment principles and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external partners
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Passion for enhancing early career programs and a desire to connect with prospective students and college/university partners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of current employment laws including OFCCP's guidelines for fair hiring practices
- Enjoy working in teams and being highly communicative
- Able to multi-task and be flexible to new initiatives
