Regional Sales Director - Furniture HiTouch - Regional Remote Southeast

ApplyThe Regional Sales Director (RSD) for Furniture at HiTouch is responsible for driving sales and overseeing the performance of the furniture division within a specific region. This role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets, managing relationships with key clients, and ensuring operational excellence. The RSD will lead a team of managers and account executives, providing guidance and support to drive success. This position plays a critical role in shaping the company’s growth and market presence in the furniture sector.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the FAE team and work closely with generalist account managers to maximize sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for the furniture division to drive revenue growth and market penetration within the assigned region.
- Oversee a team of sales managers and account executives, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to achieve their targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction with product offerings and identifying opportunities for expansion.
- Collaborate with senior management to create and execute regional business plans that align with corporate objectives.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Work with internal departments such as marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment with business goals.
- Have a continuous in-depth knowledge of project queue, billings, and forecasting models.
- Work with manufacturers and installers to minimize costs and maximize profitability.
- Drive account retention and new business development initiatives.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience. A post-graduate degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a management role, preferably within the furniture or related industries. Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing large sales teams.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in managing regional sales teams and driving revenue growth within a complex, multi-product environment. Strong understanding of the furniture industry and its unique sales challenges. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the furniture or office supply sectors. Proficiency with CRM tools and sales management software. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile clients and key decision-makers.
