What you’ll be doing:
- Continuously monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras and access control systems, to detect and assess potential security threats.
- Analyze security alerts and data from various sources to identify genuine threats and false alarms.
- Coordinate rapid response to security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with relevant departments (like IT, HR, legal) for a multidisciplinary approach to incident management.
- Document all security incidents and responses in detail for future reference and learning.
- Regularly review and update security protocols to align with current threats and organizational changes.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
- Recommend and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to reduce security risks.
- Perform routine security audits to ensure compliance with established protocols and industry standards.
- Address any compliance issues and rectify deficiencies in security practices.
- Prepare detailed reports on security operations, incident responses, and audit findings.
- Maintain accurate records of security measures, incidents, and resolutions.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on security awareness and emergency response procedures.
- Keep the team updated on the latest security threats and best practices.
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of security technologies and systems.
- Ensure the reliability and effectiveness of security infrastructure.
- Liaise with external security agencies and vendors for enhanced security collaboration.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their security needs and concerns.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in security technologies and practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in security operations.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for various security scenarios.
- Coordinate drills and exercises to test and improve emergency response capabilities.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or work experience 2 years of related experience in security operations or similar roles.
- Understanding of security systems and threat landscape.
- Basic knowledge of incident response and crisis management.
- Proficiency in security software and tools.
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification.
- Experience with advanced security systems and threat intelligence tools.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex security incidents and investigations.
