Staples Promotional Products (SPP) is in high-growth mode, and we’re looking for a strategic, data-driven, and creativeSenior Specialist, Account Marketing to drive deeper engagement and expansion within our key verticals and customer accounts to drive share of wallet across all lines of business. The Senior Marketing Specialist is a champion for our customers and this role is all about growth—helping customers maximize their promotional impact while ensuring SPP is their go-to brand partner

As a key player on the marketing team, you will own customer marketing strategies that fuel account growth, enhance customer loyalty, and optimize eCommerce experiences. You will use your expertise in digital + traditional marketing, eCommerce, and analytics to develop campaigns that drive revenue, improve customer engagement, and identify new opportunities. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, think beyond the status quo, and have the ability to turn insights into action.

This role is for a go-getter—someone who partners with sales, account services, and merchandising to create data-driven, high-impact programs that deliver results.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Customer Marketing & Growth: Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive growth goals and engagement across top and emerging customer programs.
  • eCommerce & Digital Marketing: Leverage eCommerce and digital marketing best practices to improve customer engagement, optimize eStore performance, and increase sales.
  • Data-Driven Strategy & Reporting: Own reporting & analytics, leveraging tools to measure campaign success, track trends, and identify risks and opportunities for optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution: Work closely with Sales, Account Services, and Merchandising to align marketing efforts with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Marketing + Projects: Provide direction for core customer marketing executions – e.g., print catalogues, sponsorships, and event support.

What you bring to the table:

  • Strategic, data-driven, and creative mindset.
  • Expertise in digital + traditional marketing, eCommerce, and analytics.
  • Ability to turn insights into action and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with sales, account services, and merchandising teams.

What’s needed - Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years related work experience in a B2B Marketing Communications role.
  • Experience in managing interactions with multiple stakeholders and parties.
  • Proven Demand Generation + Lead Generation Experience.

What’s needed - Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (French/English).
  • Understanding of industry and other regulations that affect marketing communications processes and outputs.
  • Website development and maintenance experience.
  • Design skills (Adobe, Canva).
  • Ability to successfully provide creative direction.
