 What you’ll be doing:

  • This position is responsible for the strategic development, planning, and execution of, any project that leads to winning a new client, maintaining or growing the business of a current client.
  • As a proposal manger, you will be driving industry marketing planning and initiatives, including culling through industry trends and analytics, and collaboration with the sales, the market basket team, art directors, and creative merchandising teams to create effective wining, proposals, presentations, quotes, large special orders and marketing collateral.
  • You will also create, manage and execute on-brand marketing strategies across verticals and all over the globe to win contracts with the world’s largest brands.
  • The Senior Marketing Manager will develop and implement marketing efforts across a wide variety of clients and areas to grow SPP accounts.
  • This person will increase revenue heavily through effective RFP/RFI/RFQ/Executive Summaries/Large Quotes/Marketing Projects, while also providing detailed analytics, trends and evaluations.
  • Identify industry opportunities and recommend strategies that align with sales goals and merchandising trends.
  • Develop and execute a sales-driving, multi-faceted marketing plan – primarily proposals, questionnaires and presentations and track results for reporting on each campaign to recommend improvements and strategies for future campaigns in presentations to the client.
  • Collaborate continuously with internal team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of the account, target audiences and marketing needs.

What you bring to the table:

  • Experience in leading global projects.
  • Ability to project manage senior level managers including proficiency in strategic planning and execution
  • Ability to transform your knowledge into effective marketing sales pitches that deliver wins and revenue.
  • Serve as project manager/lead to navigate marketing initiatives cross-departmentally.
  •  Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Attention to detail, Multi-tasking and prioritizing capabilities
  • Self-motivated with a desire to always learn, grow and evolve as a superior marketing professional.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, writing skills, and proofing skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external contacts.

Qualifications

What’s needed – Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant work experience in writing Proposals, Global Procurement, Marketing, Account Management

What’s needed - Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with agencies and/or vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising or Communications
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics or similar analytic software
