What you’ll be doing:
The Controls Engineer III plays a pivotal role in supply chain electrical and automation engineering. This role will implement activities affecting significant components and processes within the unit, team, and projects. Using seasoned expertise, this role contributes to enhancing our business strategy, provides innovative solutions, and consistently demonstrates initiative.
- Oversee the design, development, and optimization of electrical control systems.
- Implement complex electrical and automation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical and automation system anomalies.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes.
- Stay updated with the latest industry practices, ensuring that the company's systems are at the forefront of technological advancements.
- Ensure adherence to safety and compliance regulations in all electrical and automation undertakings.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, design drawings, and procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree – in BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or related field; or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of progressively complex related experience in electrical and automation engineering.
- Proficiency in electrical design tools and software.
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in supply chain automation.
- Certifications related to electrical controls and automation systems.
