Role summary:

The Furniture Coordinator provides post order support for furniture orders with delivery and installation that have been submitted by specialist sales reps. Post order support includes acknowledging orders with client, vendor, and liaising with both, as well as the installation company, to ensure the successful installation of the client's furniture.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Manages post sale process for customer furniture programs and orders 
• Resolves issues and discrepancies on Staples purchase orders, making decisions regarding the corrective course of action and executing accordingly 
• Develops project timelines, sequence of events, and coordinates with outside trades to ensure timely project execution 
• Manages the process with vendors to ensure timely receipt of product and resolves issues 
• Documents delivery information and scheduling dates 
• Tracks drop ships, special orders, and inventory orders 
• Reconciles and corrects differences between the order management system (CFS) and General Ledger system (Sunrise) for all types of orders 
• Troubleshoots missing information and obtains missing information from vendors 
• Executes billing function following confirmation of successful delivery/installation

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma is Minimum. Specialized Schooling in Project Management preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in customer success and/or project management
• Education preferences can be waived should the associate demonstrate proficiency through experience in similar environments such as: 
  • accounting/bookkeeping
  • project coordination 
  • Furniture Industry experience 
• Experience using quoting tools, CRM (Salesforce preferred), and Order Management Systems (OMS)
