What you’ll be doing:
Assist and support the SPP Manufacturing division by processing decoration orders for all SPP sales groups: Merchandising, Program Inventory, Customer Experience (Customer Service), Estore/Web, Special Order, Account Development.
- Process all ER orders accurately and timely to meet the SPP sales associate and customer expectations for decoration and shipment. (ER orders are those that do not flow cleanly from the Sales ordering system to the Manufacturing production system.)
- Manually enter orders into the Manufacturing system that cannot be transmitted from the Sales ordering system. This requires knowledge of both the Sales system as well as the Manufacturing system for accurate data entry.
- Process art requests to add ID specs on the Manufacturing system as needed for sales associates based on information provided on the decoration order, or through other means of communication, following decoration guidelines established by the Art and Production teams. This requires close communication with the Sales associate as well as in-depth knowledge of our various decoration processes so art is set up accurately for the production teams.
- Process proof requests on decoration orders following information on the order from Sales. File the proofs in shared folders accessible to the production teams so orders can be decorated according to the proof approved by Sales and Customers.
- Adjust all orders as needed based on direction from Sales associates, as well as internal Production, Shipping/Traffic & Logistics departments. Adjustments include, but are not limited to, changes in quantities, products, artwork, shipping information and order priority.
- Coordinate with our internal Art, Scheduling, Production and Shipping/Traffic & Logistics Departments on time-sensitive orders to ensure customer in-hands dates can be met.
- Order non-stock blank product from suppliers when product is ruined in our decoration process. Maintain all documentation to charge the appropriate department budget for the costs associated with the replacement product. Perform weekly follow-up on orders that are on art, production, or shipment hold, to remind the Sales associates of the status of their order on the production system.
- Perform monthly follow-up and clean-up of sales orders on the Manufacturing production system.
What you bring to the table:
- High level of customer service for the Manufacturing division to maintain and increase bottom line results for SPP.
- Collaborate between many departments to successfully fulfill orders and Deliver for the Customer.
- Share knowledge of our internal decoration processes to help Sales secure orders from customers so we can Win Together and deliver results.
- In-depth knowledge of the Manufacturing system, and basic knowledge of the Sales system, and understand how they are tied through programming functionality which allows orders to flow cleanly between the two systems to avoid data entry errors and expedite order fulfillment.
