What you’ll be doing:

  • Work directly with assigned Sr. FSAEs and Sr. Managers to identify, cultivate and pursue both programmatic and transactional opportunities.
  • Assist in growth of new and existing customers through opportunities and account planning.
  • Drive compliance, program maintenance, and category penetration through proactive account planning.
  • Utilize reporting and analytics to identify the best targets to approach with their selling partner.
  • Provide pre-sales support to account team and external customers which could include capabilities presentation, pricing, quote, product specs, implementation support.
  • Complete bid and formal RFP submissions. Provide product comparison and suggest alternatives based on Customer needs.
  • Act as the secondary seller to the Sr. FSAE.
  • Develop selling skills of qualifying, strategizing, sales call tactics, closing, and maintaining service levels.
  • Understand the key facilities processes for sourcing, order fulfillment, and project management.
  • Proficiency in Breakroom and Dispenser program processes with mastery of the Staples Total Coffee Program. 
  • Engage vendor partners to secure selling support, product info, samples, deviations, and implementation support.
  • Utilize vendor support and training in customer interactions.
  • Complete job-related training courses and/or seminars, as may be required for the job and/or assigned by Manager.

What you bring to the table:

  • Eagerness to learn selling motions for facilities category.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and personalities.
  • Proven self-starter with energy and motivation to uncover, develop and close sales with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to sell company values and services, in addition to program features and benefits via phone and internet.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to be able to interact across the different departments including Customers.
  • Ability to balance multiple concurrent responsibilities of varying priorities and to shift focus from one to another with minimal loss of productivity or work quality.
  • Problem Solving Skills with a Customer-Centric mindset.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Higher Secondary or Vocational Education
  • 4+ years Sales or sales support work experience
  • 2+ years Facilities experience with concentration in the Coffee Service industry

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Project Management skills
