The Supplier Relationship Analyst will provide support on a variety of Supply Chain projects and tasks. Responsibilities include monitoring Drop Ship vendor Inventory data and identifying vendor outliers, analyzing vendor performance metrics, executing lead-time reviews and systemic updates, analyzing vendor compliance data to ensure Supply Chain execution is being achieved, and assisting with the FBA vendor communication and system setup process to help that team deliver a superior customer experience. The role requires the ability to multi-task, strong analytical skills, effective communication with all levels of management, and the ability to drive efficiency. You will have high-level exposure, with a great deal of responsibility managing multiple projects to help drive Supply Chain objectives.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Analyzing Drop Ship vendor data feeds to verify that the files are accurate and complete.
  • Assist in the development of a Daily Fill Rate validation report to track the Drop Ship data being sent from vendors and create a compliance tracker.
  • FBA support including Vendor Letter communications, Galaxy system setup, and support for the IM team regarding PO placement.
  • Ensuring our Vendor’s are operating and communicating in accordance with Staples Supplier guidelines.
  • Partnering with internal Supply Chain teams (Transportation, Warehouse/RVP, and Vendor Compliance) to drive efficiencies.
  • Provide direction to our suppliers through regular dialogue and ad hoc issue resolution.
  • Communicate and escalate critical vendor supply chain issues to minimize the customer impact.
  • Monitor Key performance indicators and implement plans to mitigate supply chain challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with the Merchandising teams.
  • Partner with the Analytics team to automate reporting that is currently produced manually.
  • Lead ad hoc Supply Chain projects with vendors (i.e. Supplier Summits, SAP Conversions, Drop Trailer program, etc.) to help improve service and drive productivity.
  • Facilitate onboarding meetings with New Suppliers to provide an overview of Staples Routing Guide and shipping guidelines.
  • Partnering with the E3 team and Inventory Management on updating the SBG Lead-Times in the AS400 via the Upload process.
  • Facilitating the updates in the AS400 for any ship point, SOPT, or lead-time changes.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory management.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects.
  • Experience working with Supply Chain Planning and Inventory Management systems. 
  • Understanding of fundamental replenishment processes
