Sr. Content Manager – HiTouch

What you’ll be doing:

  • Content Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with business goals and product objectives, ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in style and quality, and optimized for performance.
  • Product Content Management: Manage and update product content, including descriptions, 
  • specifications, images, and videos across various eCommerce 3P digital platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure that product content supports key initiatives, including product launches, promotions, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Track and analyze content performance using relevant metrics, making data-driven recommendations for improvements in content engagement and conversion.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in content creation and management to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Vendor Management: Work with external vendors and agencies as necessary to create and curate high-quality content.
  • Point of contact for overall marketplace content management - supporting the management of product content programs across our eCommerce business, including but not limited to the flow of content & day to day maintenance to achieve business objectives and goals as well as maintaining stellar metrics relative to content quality scores (Amazon, eBay, Newegg, Target and Walmart and others)

What you bring to the table:     

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop content strategies that drive business results while aligning with the company’s overall vision.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, guide, and inspire a team of content professionals.
  • Creativity & Innovation: A creative approach to content creation and management, with a focus on developing engaging and effective product content.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize content strategies based on performance metrics.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across departments.
  • Proven track record of managing product content across multiple platforms, including digital and print.
  • Experience in leading content teams and managing content creation workflows.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and tools for performance tracking and 
  • optimization.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams to drive cohesive content strategies.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 4 years + in E-Commerce experience in direct-to-consumer or wholesale businesses along with content management, product marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 + years in a managerial or leadership role

What’s needed- Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience working with product information management (PIM) systems.
  • Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of content analytics tools to measure engagement and drive continuous 
  • improvement.
  • Experience with selling on marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Newegg, Target and Walmart and 

others.) including direct experience on their Seller Central administrative tools
