Responsible for managing medium or large sized technology projects with medium-high complexity using accepted processes and methods. This includes managing through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within an agile environment. This also includes activities such as risk management and stakeholder expectation management. Guides important, multi-disciplinary technology teams in the achievement of technical project objectives for large, complex, or strategic technology projects or programs. Leads in facilitating team information and work flow. Leads in removing barriers to timely and cost effective project completion. Incorporates best practices and/or agile development methodologies.

Develops and documents technical project schedules, milestones and budgets for team. Typically shares budget, schedule, milestone and cost / benefit decision-making responsibilities, but not accountability, with technology managers. Prioritizes activities and communicates project status to stakeholders. Prioritizes and adjusts technology project resources, staff, assets and schedules to ensure timely and effective project outcomes. Provides recommendations and assists team members and leaders in making cost / benefit decisions. Leads project meetings. Implements activities that generally impact multiple components / processes and the work of own and several other units / teams / projects. Typically assigned to strategic / complex / high risk undertakings. 

Demonstrates proficiency in most areas of the professional function and expertise in key areas. Develops technical / business approaches and new or enhanced technical tools. Interacts with internal and external peers and management to share complex information / solutions related to areas of expertise and/or to gain acceptance of new or enhanced technology / business solutions. Presents issues to and works with management to resolve critical resource conflicts. Receives work in the form of short- and mid-term outcomes that regularly require the application of independent judgment and creativity. Mentors less experienced members of the team. Work is subject to management review at defined milestones. Operates within the context of defined operating outcomes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drives and delivers a business solution by managing all project components.
  • Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards and meet customer expectations.
  • Plans, schedules, and ensures timely completion of the project.
  • Assembles project teams, and manages resource allocation and day-to-day operations of the project.
  • Serves as liaison between team members and management team regarding projects.
  • Performs work independently.
  • Considered a high-level specialist who regularly interacts and works with senior management.
  • Uses advanced techniques, theories, and processes to complete work.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 7 years of progressively complex experience in a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale technical projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Solid understanding of business operations and strategic alignment.

What’s needed-  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience in the specific technical domain relevant to the business.
  • Experience leading Supply chain, and Data Center projects/programs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams.
