Senior Manager Marketplace Insights & Operations

What you will be doing:
- Lead a high-performing team focused on driving data-driven insights, operational excellence, and strategic execution across our marketplace business.
- Oversee the development and delivery of performance dashboards, KPIs, and actionable insights to track business health and identify growth opportunities.
- Design and optimize operational processes, including onboarding, product catalog management, seller enablement, and promotional execution to ensure seamless scalability and compliance.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Technology, Finance, Marketing, and Category Management teams to develop initiatives that improve marketplace competitiveness, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze marketplace trends, competitor benchmarks, and customer data to inform strategy, presenting recommendations to senior leadership and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships, ensuring service-level agreements are met and the marketplace operates efficiently.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, business reviews, and performance updates.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Strong leadership, people management, and team development capabilities that foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Outstanding communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities to influence and collaborate at all levels.
- A structured, process-driven approach to challenges, with a continuous drive to improve efficiency, scalability, and cross-functional execution.
What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Analytics, Operations Management, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in marketplace management, e-commerce operations, analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing operational processes end-to-end.
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and scaling processes that enhance operational efficiency and support long-term business growth.
- Strong proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree in related discipline.
- Experience in a high-growth digital marketplace environment.
- Familiarity with marketplace technologies, seller platforms, and operational tools (e.g., OMS, PIM, CRM).
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Background in vendor management and/or third-party partner oversight.
