Responsible for designing and implementing information systems that will adequately support the cyber security of the organization. Analyzes system requirements and defines system architecture that will meet business needs, including server infrastructure, capacity planning, storage requirements, and networking protocols. Ensures that architecture project roll-outs meet security standards and be effectively integrated with current applications. Works on the largest and most complex infrastructure architecture projects. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to Manager. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in solution or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and implementing information systems to support the organization’s cyber security.
- Analyzing system requirements and defining system architecture to meet business needs.
- Ensuring architecture project roll-outs meet security standards and are integrated with current applications.
- Recommending modifications to application development, database design, networking, or infrastructure architecture to comply with internal security policies and standards.
- Monitoring emerging products, technologies, or best practices to improve security.
- Assisting senior leadership in developing security policies, standards, and strategies.
- Performing or participating in security audits, identifying security gaps, and developing risk mitigation solutions.
- Providing leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to junior associates.
What you bring to the table:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role with progressive responsibility.
- Experience with cloud security, identity management, threat modeling, and incident response.
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
- Recognized cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
- Experience with AI-driven security solutions.
