Senior Area Sales Manager HiTouch

This position is responsible for implementing the appropriate sales strategy to ensure the company meets account maintenance goals through the use of the Business Development sales team. This position uses acquired skills as a “Staples hunter” to prospect for and set your own appointments with potential business customers, develop new accounts and further expand our customer base

Duties & Responsibilities

•Implementing an account management strategy that will lead to revenue growth using data driven metrics.

•Will lead Strategic and Key Account teams that are responsible for HiTouch’s largest accounts.

•Having a solid management style and ability to influence important relationship will be required to increase revenue while at the same mitigating risk of attrition. 

•Provides important trends, issues, client insight etc. to the HiTouch leadership team •Makes sure that all KPIs for account management team are being met or exceeded

 •Coach, mentor and develop sales personnel 

•Successfully recruit and train sales personnel 

•Assist sales personnel on calls to new accounts 

•Prepare proposals, presentations and pricing

 •Prepare sales and activity reports, communication & follow up

 •Assist in planning annual goals, appraisals, personnel issues 

•Distribute performance objectives to meet team objectives for sales, GP and NP

Management Responsibilities

 •Achieve assigned team quotas for revenue, wins, and activity KPIs

 •Train and mentor reps 

•Attend appointments (virtually and in-person) with your associates 

•Hold associates accountable for achieving their quotas and KPIs 

•Hold regularly scheduled 1-1's with associates 

•Ensure associates are up to speed with all relevant communications from Corporate 

•Execute sales strategy developed by Corporate

Basic Qualifications

 •5+ years sales experience 

•3+ years sales mgt experience

 •Results oriented, self-motivated and driven by both financial and career opportunities

 •Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential

 •All core skills and knowledge of the Business Development Associate or Business Development Manager role •Advanced selling & negotiation skills

 •Management skills (mentoring, coaching, counseling) for sales personnel optimization

 •High level of business acumen

 •Excellent computer skills and technology competence 

Preferred Qualifications

 •Bachelor’s degree. 

•Industry knowledge.
