Program Manager Dotcom Customer Marketing

Our marketing team is charged with an important task – sharing our Staples story. We use customer data and analytics to help us understand and improve our customers’ experiences, drive customer retention and encourage brand loyalty. Our team is diverse, with skillsets and responsibilities ranging from graphic design, content creation and performance marketing to internal communications and loyalty & rewards programs. We work together to provide expertise and guidance, so that the Staples brand is well represented in all areas.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive the approach and implementation of coordinated marketing strategies across multiple channels to drive growth, retention and share of wallet.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of data to inform go-to-market strategy, tailoring the approach to resonate with customer wants and needs at different points in the lifecycle
  • Partner with operations and creative teams to drive approach, maintain all schedules and oversee the tactical execution of plans, ensuring flawless execution
  • Partner with merchandising and promotions teams to define campaign messaging in coordination with prioritized product categories and offers
  • Flawlessly coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives based on business impact, escalating issues that impact timelines, dependencies and/or budget
  • Drive development of measurement plans/KPIs in partnership with Manager, Customer Marketing. 
  • Drive post-campaign analysis and action plan based on areas of opportunity

What you bring to the table:

  • A cross-functional collaborator who can build alignment across internal teams to drive shared goals and strategy. Also has the ability to work well independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented, highly organized individual with proven project management skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines at one time, adjusts quickly to changing priorities and campaign timelines
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years digital marketing or a related field

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Marketing
  • Bachelor’s Degree Marketing or Communications
  • Background in customer lifecycle marketing and program execution within a test/learn framework
