The Manager of Sourcing Manager will oversee the company’s end-to-end sourcing operations. The role involves strategy development, vendor negotiation, and the management of procurement activities to optimize costs and ensure the supply chain's efficiency. This role is accountable for developing and executing sourcing strategies, negotiating supplier agreements, managing vendor performance, and optimizing procurement processes across the organization. The Manager ensures initiatives roll up to the Sourcing Director's roadmap, allocates resources to meet operational objectives, and contributes to departmental planning by providing insights based on market conditions, supplier capabilities, and business

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies at a project level that align with organizational goals and optimize supplier value.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and service-level agreements with suppliers and vendors to ensure competitive advantage and cost optimization.

  • Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation.

  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring contract compliance and managing supplier relationships.

  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate sourcing risks related to supply continuity, cost fluctuations, compliance exposure, or vendor performance.

  • Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and industry insights to inform sourcing decisions and recommend alternatives that improve cost efficiency and operational performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Product teams—to ensure products meet specifications, compliance requirements, and performance standards.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by assessing current processes, identifying gaps, and implementing solutions that enhance sourcing effectiveness and reduce operational costs.

  • Maintain and improve vendor relationships through structured performance reviews, communication forums, and strategic business discussions.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing data-driven insights on cost trends, volume requirements, and supplier capacities.

  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and vendor management capabilities.

  • High level of initiative with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

  • Effective communicator both written and oral with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

  • Ability to craft effective presentations to drive alignment and buy-in on large scale sourcing recommendations.

  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of sourcing/procurement experience.

  • Demonstrated experience negotiating supplier contracts and managing supplier performance.

  • Proven track record of cost savings and sourcing process improvements.

  • Proficiency with procurement systems, supplier analytics, and ERP tools.

What’s needed - Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Experience in international sourcing and vendor management.

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.

  • Professional certifications such as CPSM or CSCP.

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity.  In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.  ​
