Role summary:

We’re looking for a creative, trend-savvy Manager of social media and PR to join our marketing team! In this role, you’ll support both our omni and B2B channels by owning the development and execution of innovative social media and earned media strategies that shape brand perception and drive engagement. You’ll lead social campaigns, manage PR/media relations, and build the strategic direction for influencer campaigns in collaboration with agency partners. By staying ahead of trends and evolving with consumer behavior, you’ll ensure our strategies are fresh, impactful, and aligned with business goals, collaborating across teams to deliver measurable results. What you’ll be doing: 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that drives audience engagement, supports business objectives, and positions the brand as an industry leader. 
  • Lead the creative development of platform-specific, social-first content, collaborating with the creative team to craft compelling brand storytelling. 
  • Strategically design and execute PR and earned media campaigns to elevate brand visibility and cultivate meaningful relationships with media and key audiences.
  • Oversee influencer and partnership strategies, collaborating with agency partners to amplify social media and PR campaigns effectively. 
  • Analyze performance metrics, providing insights and optimizing strategies to continuously improve campaign impact and achieve measurable results.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, platforms, and best practices to keep the brand innovative and relevant in a dynamic digital landscape. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment across integrated marketing campaigns. 
  • Manage the content calendar to ensure consistent, timely, and impactful execution of social media initiatives. 
  • Cultivate and engage with online communities to build brand loyalty, foster meaningful dialogue, and respond to inquiries effectively.
  • Develop organic social campaigns based on big rock marketing moments, partnering with vertical and category owners while maintaining monthly social media calendar
  • Research social media trends and changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing initiatives and tactics 
  • Assist with brand media activations and social influencer campaigns from the paid media team 
  • Oversee day-to-day management of social media campaigns, inclusive of aligning to larger campaign strategy and setting KPIs based on industry standards and larger campaign goals
  • Manage monthly reporting, competitive analysis, audience analytics, and more

What you bring to the table: 

  • Expert knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube and how they relate to a larger strategy or campaign
  • Ability to be a cross-functional collaborator who can build alignment within a matrixed team to drive shared goals and strategy 
  • Strong writing for social media skills 
  • Proven social media analytics and social listening skills 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to adjusts quickly to changing priorities and campaign timelines 
  • Strong experience managing multiple projects and deadlines at one time 
  • B2B social media experience preferred but not required 
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative content strategies.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Marketing or Communications or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • Specialized in mastering social media platforms and crafting compelling public relations strategies
  • Demonstrated experience implementing strategic public relations campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and guide data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven project management expertise and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce compelling social content

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • • Previous experience in retail, B2B, or related social media marketing fields
