Join Staples as a Claims Associate and be a part of our integrated strategic claims oversight team. With Staples being a business-to-business company, you’ll be the vital link that helps us thrive. This position is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks, and has a knack for problem-solving.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work as part of an integrated strategic claims oversight team responsible for:
  • Workers Compensation Support
    • Review all new incidents reported
    • Evaluate and generate claims when appropriate
    • Tie incidents to the TPA claims feed
    • Triage all new incidents including investigations with the business
    • Manage all report only and medical only claims to conclusion
    • Coordinate return to work process including job offers, pay, documentation of status in RMIS system
    • Documentation for Reasonable Accommodation requests
    • Track and document disability periods in RMIS system
    • Track and document litigation data in RMIS system
    • Workforce planning utilizing ODG guidelines and other resources
    • Manage WC Claims data for OSHA reporting
    • Communicate with various stakeholders
    • Assist with HR tickets
    • Manage team mailboxes as requested
    • Document all activity in RMIS system
  • RMIS Support including management of claims data and tracking of claim KPI’s
  • Automobile and General Liability Support as needed
  • Other tasks as required

What you bring to the table:

  • Good communication skills to be able to coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders and business partners
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of business experience, preferably insurance-related
