What you’ll be doing:
- Pricing Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive pricing strategies for eMarketplace platforms to maximize conversion while maintaining profitability.
- Data-Driven Analysis: Perform data analysis, financial modeling, and competitive research to proactively recommend optimizations and develop insights backing your recommendations.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key pricing metrics, such as profit margins, conversion rates, and competitor activity, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Pricing Execution: Utilize pricing tools and software to continuously optimize prices, ensuring they are both competitive and profitable across multiple eMarketplace platforms.
- Cross-Functional Partnerships: Coordinate with internal teams (Merchandising, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain) to align pricing and promotional strategies with broader business goals and vendor agreements. Communicate with stakeholders in order to defend or evolve your recommendations in order to achieve an implementable outcome.
- Collaboration: Track performance of pricing campaigns, present reporting to stakeholders and senior leadership on a regular basis with recommendations.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure that all pricing policies and strategies comply with legal and regulatory standards across different marketplaces.

- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team toward achieving pricing and profitability goals.
- Analytical Thinking: High proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving, with the ability to use data-driven insights to optimize pricing strategies.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex pricing strategies in a clear and actionable manner.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment and adjust pricing strategies in response to market conditions and business needs.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally, build strong relationships with internal teams, and collaborate to achieve shared objectives.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of experience in pricing, revenue or marketplace management.
- 3+ years of management experience, overseeing pricing functions or similar roles within a related field.
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications
- A post-graduate degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred but not required
- Proven experience in developing and managing pricing strategies across eMarketplace platforms.
- Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, pricing tools, and competitor analysis.
- Experience using advanced pricing tools and software to optimize pricing strategies
- Experience with major 3P Marketplaces (Amazon, Target, Walmart) and familiarity with their
- pricing structures and dynamics.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools used to monitor and adjust pricing strategies.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in managing profitability and margin analysis.
