Staples Technology Solutions (STS) is the direct B2B IT Sales division of Staples Contract & Commercial. Join our Bids response team and help drive our business forward, helping our Sellers wow our clients. We provide solutions for IT Professionals and Buyers from Client Computing up to the Enterprise data center including servers, storage, and networking. From the largest enterprise accounts to local commercial businesses, our STS team provides a customer experience that leverages our top tier manufacturer relationships and our purchasing, warehousing, delivery, and logistics expertise to exceed our customers everyday business expectations.
What you will be doing:
- Provide competitive bids and quotes for technology products including computer hardware, peripherals, and services
- Collaborate with internal and external resources and source products/solutions, obtain special costs, negotiate best costs and execute pricing strategy to be offered in winning proposals
- Provides bid financial analysis for review and approval
- Responsible for bid workflow: Communication, strategy, deadlines, and documentation
- Understand and maintain knowledge of relevant products and programs
- Assist with special projects, suggest process improvements, ad hoc analysis etc.
What you bring to the table:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong attention to detail, time management and follow-up
- Resourceful and able to work independently
Qualifications:
What’s needed – Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years related professional experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong Excel skills required
What’s needed – Preferred Qualifications:
- College or Technical Degree preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of Technology Hardware experience
- Capabilities in Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query, Macros, Access
