Sr Mgr Key Acct Development FS

Manages a team of Facilities Key Account Developers who partner with outside sales, inside sales, and
business development to coordinate account support activities and drive penetration of products and
services. This role is responsible for achieving sales goals by holding the team accountable to key
metrics, delegating appropriately, maintaining a highly engaged workforce, and building a strong
recognition culture. Delivers incremental annual new sales growth through business development,
people development, and account management efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the Key Account Development team.
• Execute defined sales processes and operating standards.
• Manage deals end-to-end, including negotiation strategy and execution.
• Solve complex problems by devising creative, practical solutions.
• Drive growth by analyzing performance dashboards, data, and industry trends.
People Leadership
Management Responsibilities
• Hire and onboard new team members.
• Coach and train associates to improve performance and capability.
• Own performance management and ongoing associate development.
• Create and sustain a collaborative, high-accountability culture.
Discretion and Independent Judgment
• Accountable for profitability within the scope of the role.
• Approve pricing and product decisions that impact sales margin.
• Serve as a signatory for customer programs and contracts.
Communications and Interactions
• Partner and collaborate with internal stakeholders through customer meetings, strategy sessions,
and coaching sessions.
• Lead category and process training for customers and internal partners.
• Conduct customer meetings, including product and pricing presentations.
Basic Qualifications
• Strong communication skills.
• CRM experience.
• Presentation skills (PowerPoint).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Janitorial/sanitation and breakroom product experience.
• Professional selling skills.
Critical Experiences
• Proven experience leading, developing, and coaching team members in sales roles.
• Successful B2B sales experience within a multi-tier sales organization.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with adversity with a results-oriented mindset.
• Experience presenting and communicating across multiple organizational levels.
• Understanding of business development and account management.
• Experience owning a sales budget with a track record of exceeding quota.
