Manager, Sales Intelligence & Enablement

Role Overview

We are seeking a Manager, Sales Intelligence & Enablement, to own analytics solutions that turn data into prioritized, actionable insights for sellers. This role sits at the intersection of analytics engineering, sales intelligence, and enablement, with accountability for both insight quality and seller adoption.

The primary focus of this role is leading a sales intelligence platform that combines analytical models, Salesforce activity, and transactional data to guide seller decision-making. The role will also support related sales analytics and enablement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise in Alteryx and Tableau, strong sales acumen, and the ability to independently diagnose and enhance complex analytics systems.

Why This Role Matters

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build sales intelligence that gets used—owning both the analytics and how sellers act on it every day.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve a sales intelligence and prioritization platform that ranks customers and opportunities using transactional data, Salesforce activity, customer attributes, and analytical models.

  • Design and maintain models that identify growth opportunities, declining sales signals, customer segments, seller touch patterns, and sales strategies.

  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced Alteryx workflows sourcing data from Snowflake (Salesforce, transactions, customers, assignments).

  • Design and own Tableau dashboards and interactive tools used by sellers, frontline managers, and leadership.

  • Rapidly assess existing workflows and dashboards to understand logic, diagnose issues, and implement enhancements without extensive documentation.

  • Translate business questions and enhancement requests into scalable analytics solutions.

  • Drive seller efficiency and revenue growth by reducing noise and focusing attention on the highest-impact actions.

  • Partner with sellers, sales managers, and senior leaders to support rollouts, training, and adoption.

  • Measure and communicate tool effectiveness, adoption, and business impact.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, with demonstrated success in delivering business results.

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and analysis methods.

  • Strong strategic and execution skills.

  • Advanced to expert experience with Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Strong experience working with Snowflake and large sales and customer datasets.

  • Proven experience applying analytics to sales performance, prioritization, or enablement.

  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation and sales intelligence concepts.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytics in business-friendly terms.

  • Ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently while partnering effectively.

What’s Needed – Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience in Sales Analytics

We Offer:

  • Inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups
  • Flexible PTO (22 days) and Holiday Schedule (7 observed paid holidays)
  • Online and Retail Discounts, Company Match 401(k), Physical and Mental Health Wellness programs, and more!https://careers.staples.com/Staples-Life/Benefits
