What you’ll be doing:

  • Assists with mentoring customer service reps by providing on-the-spot training and assistance with customer escalations.
  • Provides feedback to management on training opportunities.
  • Promotes a positive, team-centric work environment with the main focus being customer satisfaction.
  • Processes customer orders, while striving to exceed customer expectations.
  • Continued focus on cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and customer relationship building.
  • Actively participates in meetings and provides suggestions to management for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Involvement in ongoing Transformation efforts as directed by management.

What you bring to the table:

  • Strong customer interacting skills with the ability to interact with customers on a daily basis via phone, email, chat and social media.
  • Ability to serve as the first and often only point of contact, the face of Staples. 
  • Expert problem solver and excellent communicator.
  • Ability to empathize with a customer’s situation and quickly determine their needs and provide resolution.

Qualifications:

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years related professional experience (customer service, sales support, or account management).
  • Basic mathematical aptitude.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects to meet required timelines.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with specific attention to detail.
  • Exemplary customer service and order processing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written such as e-mail and phone skills.
  • Proficient demonstrated use of Microsoft programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Solid knowledge of multiple company systems and processes.
  • Previous customer service and sales support experience.
  • Understanding phone and email metrics.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Associate's or Technical Degree in related field preferre.
