In this role you will prospect and develop new strategic Facility Solutions (FS) programs—including janitorial, cleaning, safety, and breakroom supplies—within large local, regional, and national businesses across various industries such as commercial, healthcare, education, government, and manufacturing. You will lead the strategic sales process from initial engagement through implementation, supported by vertical experts, sales enablement, and implementation teams. Once successfully implemented, accounts transition to a Facility Solutions colleague or Key Account Manager for ongoing management.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive significant new FS sales growth in prospects (and/or customers) that are local, regional, or national in scope.
  • Proactively work to identify, qualify, and engage prospective customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Business Development and Account Management peers in assigned territory and develop strategic plans to identify, target and grow FS opportunities within target prospects.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process including proposal creation and contract negotiation.
  • Conduct on-site facilities assessments.
  • Manage initial implementation of business won and effectively transition business to Account Management and KAE teams.
  • Develop and present proposals to prospective clients.
  • Work with appropriate departments to respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), as well as other proposal requests.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic account opportunity list for each of the markets in their given region. Manage sales pipeline and deal management through salesforce.com.
  • Work with manufacturers to generate leads and negotiate pricing for large programmatic opportunities.

What you bring to the table:

  • Outside sales experience within enterprise-sized accounts.
  • Experience with Janitorial / Cleaning Supply, Breakroom, Safety, or Other Related Product Categories.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CRM experience preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Expertise in identifying, scrubbing, and qualifying prospects based on the defined target customer guidelines.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years outside sales experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Outside sales experience within enterprise sized accounts
  • Experience with Janitorial / Cleaning Supply, Breakroom, Safety, or other related product categories
  • Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite  
  • CRM experience preferably Salesforce.com
