AVP Key Accounts, Healthcare - Remote
ApplyWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven AVP, Key Accounts Healthcare to lead a team of Key Account Executives (KAEs) in driving revenue growth and customer retention. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of $250M+ in revenue, developing sales strategies, and ensuring the success of high-value customer engagements. The AVP will work closely with sales leadership and cross-functional partners to implement innovative sales methodologies, optimize performance, and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Own sales and profitability across the assigned Key Accounts portfolio.
- Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow revenue through effective contract negotiations and opportunity prioritization.
- Drive alignment with corporate sales initiatives and collaborate with category leaders and senior leadership.
- Team Development & Performance Management
- Lead and mentor a team of 5-7 direct reports, coaching them on sales methodologies, techniques, and strategic execution.
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching and team meetings to review sales performance, share insights, and develop skills.
- Recruit, retain, and develop top sales talent, fostering a high-performance and inclusive team culture.
- Customer Engagement & Business Growth
- Oversee complex customer relationships, ensuring seamless engagement and long-term business success.
- Attend virtual and in-person client meetings with Key Account Executives to support deal closures and relationship management.
- Utilize data-driven insights and Next Generation Selling Tools to enhance the sales process and effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of sales and business development experience.
- 5+ years in a sales leadership role, managing high-performing teams.
- Proven track record of managing key accounts, driving revenue growth, and negotiating complex deals.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-caliber sales team.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in sales technology and CRM tools (Microsoft Office, Salesforce, etc.).
