What you will be doing:

As the SPP Event Ops Team Manager, you will oversee end-to-end booth operations across a variety of industry events, ensuring seamless execution, strong attendee engagement, and optimized sales performance. Your responsibilities will include leading all logistical, operational, and on-site activities—such as booth setup, merchandising, traffic flow design, and staff leadership—while delivering best-in-class event experiences that drive brand recognition and maximize revenue. You will be the primary liaison between internal teams, vendors, clients, and venue partners, coordinating resources and schedules to uphold operational excellence. This role is pivotal in shaping event-based revenue, brand perception, and customer engagement across all event channels. You will directly lead, coach, and motivate a team, ensuring consistent execution, accountability, and a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement.

What You Bring to the Table:

You are a dynamic leader with exceptional organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple events simultaneously. Your strong communication, negotiation, and analytical mindset enables you to interpret KPIs, sales data, and operational trends, while your creative problem-solving and adaptability thrive in fast-paced environments. You foster teamwork, deliver clear guidance, and inspire your staff to excel. Calm under pressure, you make sound decisions quickly and demonstrate ownership, professionalism, and customer-centric thinking.

What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in event operations, event logistics, or retail merchandising
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in operational or customer-facing environments
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-site or multi-day events
  • Ability to travel 50–75% (or as required by event schedule)
  • Proficiency in POS systems, event management tools, and basic analytics/reporting
  • Experience working with vendors and external partners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, Operations, or a related field
  • Experience managing booth design, planograms, or retail display strategies
  • Experience analyzing sales performance using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar
  • Prior experience with supply chain or logistics functions supporting events
  • Experience negotiating contracts or working with large-scale event venues
