Senior Manager Product Operations & Strategic Programs - Quill

The Senior Manager, Product Operations & Strategic Programs will play a critical leadership role in scaling Quill’s Product organization and operational execution model. This role will serve as the operational backbone of the Product organization, ensuring strategic initiatives are aligned, prioritized, resourced effectively, and executed predictably across Product, IT, Merchandising, Marketing, Analytics, Loyalty, and Executive Leadership teams.
This individual will lead product Operations, strategic program management, governance, intake, prioritization processes, roadmap operations, and cross-functional delivery coordination. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational excellence and thrives in highly cross-functional, fast-paced ecommerce and digital product environments. This role will help shape how Quill operates as a modern, customer-focused, data-driven product organization.
What you’ll be doing:
Product Operations Leadership
- Build and scale Product Operations processes, governance, and operational frameworks
- Drive quarterly and annual roadmap planning processes
- Create scalable intake, prioritization, and capacity planning models
- Improve visibility into roadmap health, delivery risk, and organizational capacity
- Partner with Product leadership to improve operational efficiency and execution rigor
- Establish best practices for roadmap operations and portfolio management
Strategic Program Management
- Lead cross-functional coordination for strategic initiatives across Product, IT, Marketing,
- Merchandising, Analytics, Loyalty, and Operations
- Manage initiative sequencing, dependency management, and execution alignment
- Facilitate executive governance, roadmap reviews, and prioritization discussions
- Proactively identify execution risks, resource conflicts, and delivery bottlenecks
- Ensure strategic initiatives are appropriately scoped, phased, and operationalized
Delivery Governance & Organizational Execution
- Drive organizational accountability and execution transparency
- Establish scalable reporting, dashboards, and executive portfolio reviews
- Improve roadmap predictability and operational visibility across teams
- Lead cross-functional operating cadences and governance meetings
- Partner with IT and Product leadership on delivery planning and execution health
Executive Communication & Strategic Alignment
- Prepare executive-level presentations, portfolio reviews, roadmap updates, and
- operational reporting
- Communicate strategic tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints to
- leadership
- Help align teams around company priorities, customer outcomes, and delivery

- Support strategic decision-making through data-driven operational insights

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Information Systems, Operations, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, PMO, Product
- Management Operations, or related strategic operational leadership roles.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in ecommerce, digital product, or technology.
- Strong understanding of modern product development and agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience driving executive governance, roadmap operations, and portfolio planning
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and organizational leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
- Ecommerce or B2B commerce experience
- Experience supporting CRO, experimentation, personalization, or customer experience organizations
- Experience building or scaling Product Operations functions
- Familiarity with prioritization frameworks such as RICE, portfolio planning, and capacity management
- Experience with platforms such as Jira, Monday.com, Figma, or similar tools

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
