The Supply Demand Planner (Marketplace) is responsible for creating and maintaining period and yearly financial plans for FBA assigned categories/vendors, item planning and analysis to ensure merchandising and inventory plans are synchronized to achieve or exceed sales, inventory turns, margin and service level objectives. Additionally, the Inventory Planner is responsible for managing assortment operations and flow of inventory for FBA products to drive sales and profit and deliver superior customer experience.

 What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee FBA shipment pack list creation and accuracy, ensuring compliance with Amazon and eMarketplace requirements.
  • Forecast, monitor, and optimize inventory across eMarketplace platforms (Amazon/FBA focus) to maintain availability, improve turnover, and reduce carrying costs.
  • Use planning tools to forecast inventory value and performance at department and vendor levels, meeting or exceeding budget targets.
  • Develop purchase recommendations and manage end-to-end purchase order execution, including placement, tracking, expediting, and escalation of supply chain risks.
  • Analyze daily inventory and performance reports (out-of-stocks, active selling SKUs, overstock and constraint risks) and drive corrective actions.
  • Build department- and vendor-level sales and margin plans by evaluating trends, promotions, seasonality, and pricing elasticity.
  • Manage 3PL performance for receiving, storage, and distribution, coordinating with audit and cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and damages.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain service levels, improve operational performance, and support cross-functional initiatives.

What you bring to the table:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially for eMarketplace operations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional partners in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in inventory management and operations, with a focus on eMarketplace platforms such as Amazon and FBA.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3 + years of progressively complex experience in inventory management, operations, or a related field, with specific experience in eMarketplace platforms, particularly Amazon and FBA.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with ERP and inventory management systems.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in scaling inventory in Marketplaces specifically Fulfilled by Amazon
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects in eMarketplace operations.

**The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity.  In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
