Sr Project Manager Creative Services

Our team is diverse, with skillsets and responsibilities ranging from graphic design, content creation and performance marketing to internal communications and loyalty & rewards programs. We work together to provide expertise and guidance, so that the Staples brand is well represented in all areas.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead the end-to-end execution of strategic, multi-channel creative projects, from intake and planning through delivery
- Serve as the primary liaison between Creative Services and key partners including marketing, merchandising, digital, and external agencies
- Develop and manage detailed project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resourcing plans
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, remove roadblocks, and adapt plans to shifting priorities
- Drive clarity on project goals, creative direction, and expectations across stakeholders
- Manage integrated campaigns spanning print, digital, video, in-store, and social channels
- Ensure all creative deliverables meet brand standards, quality expectations, and legal requirements
- Track performance against KPIs and deliver post-project insights and recommendations
- Continuously improve processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and collaboration
- Coach and mentor junior project managers, contributing to the growth of the Creative Services function

What’s Needed: Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Design Management, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of progressive experience in creative services, marketing, or advertising project management
- Proven experience managing large-scale creative or marketing initiatives
- Strong understanding of creative development across digital, print, and video
Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Workfront, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field
- 2+ years of experience leading integrated, multi-channel creative campaigns
- PMP or comparable project management certification
- Background in retail, e-commerce, or agency environments
- Familiarity with digital asset management systems and content workflows
- Knowledge of brand governance, legal compliance, and production timelines

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses or other forms of variable compensation.
