As a Senior Manager, Data Science, you will lead a talented team of Data Scientists, guiding the planning, execution, and delivery of analytics initiatives that influence strategy and performance. You’ll partner with cross-functional leaders to prioritize projects, drive operational excellence, and ensure insights are translated into actionable business outcomes. This is a leadership role with broad scope—shaping the team’s direction while driving adoption of cutting-edge methodologies and tools.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll own the delivery of data science projects spanning customer acquisition, retention, and customer relationship management.

  • Your work will include building predictive models, designing experiments, and presenting actionable recommendations that inform marketing and product strategies. 

  • Collaborating with teams across Marketing, Sales, Digital/Site Experience, and IT, you’ll translate business objectives into analytics roadmaps, drive continuous improvement, and foster a high-performing, innovative team environment.

  • You should be skilled in coaching, mentorship, and performance management, with a disciplined approach to experimentation and measurement. 

  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities are essential, along with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments. 

  • Your expertise in stakeholder management and operational excellence will help build repeatable, scalable processes.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative fields such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering or equivalent work experience

  • 8 + years’ experience in data science and analytics, including hands-on model development and deployment

  • 3 + years’ experience managing data science teams (including hiring, coaching and performance management), or equivalent project/program leadership experience

  • Demonstrated experience in building and launching advanced analytics solutions for customer acquisition, segmentation and retention

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, and data visualization tools (i.e. Power BI)

  • Strong executive communication skills and experience translating analytics into actionable business recommendations

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 2+ years working in customer analytics domains such as Life Time Value (LTV), churn, personalization.

  • Experience managing a portfolio of models with governance and monitoring

  • Hands-on experience with relevant cloud based tools like Snowflake and Databricks

  • Familiarity with marketing measurement techniques, including incrementality and uplift modeling

  • Successful track record of improving key business KPIs through analytics

  • Experience leading cross-functional programs and delivering on defined timelines

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
