  • Lead the design and optimization of scalable data pipelines and architecture using platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, and relational databases.
  • Translate business priorities into actionable data initiatives that improve access, accuracy, and visibility of key sales metrics.
  • Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts, fostering professional growth and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Operations, and IT teams to define requirements and deliver solutions that enhance decision-making.
  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks and quality assurance practices to guarantee reliable analytics.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and metrics that measure operational performance and sales effectiveness.
  • Implement automated reporting systems to streamline delivery of sales and operational metrics.
  • Support AI and advanced analytics initiatives, partnering with research teams to integrate new models and scale infrastructure.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies and analytical tools to enhance data agility and reduce manual effort.

What you bring to the table:

  • Strategic, analytical thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities; able to influence at all levels.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, adept at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Business acumen to align data initiatives with commercial objectives.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics roles.
  • Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and relational database management.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, and traditional RDBMS systems.
  • Proficiency with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Proven ability to develop and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines for performance and scalability.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent initiatives.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with R, Python, dbt, or Airflow for advanced data orchestration and transformation.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data services.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML integration, model deployment support, and advanced analytics pipelines.
  • Experience implementing data governance frameworks and enterprise data catalogs.
  • Strong project management background, including Agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Prior experience in sales operations analytics, such as forecasting, territory planning, or performance reporting.
