The Senior Director, Creative is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of creative strategies that align with the company’s brand vision, business goals, and market positioning. This role leads a team of creative professionals, including designers, copywriters, and multimedia specialists, to produce innovative and compelling content across various channels. The Senior Director ensures that all creative outputs meet high standards of excellence and effectively communicate the company's brand identity. This role requires strategic thinking, creative leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business growth and customer engagement.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the development, execution, and optimization of brand strategy and loyalty initiatives that resonate with target audiences and drive long-term customer loyalty. 

• Oversee loyalty programs, ensuring they are compelling, competitive, and consistently improve customer lifetime value. 

• Partner with marketing, sales, product, and analytics teams to integrate loyalty strategies into broader business objectives. 

• Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including agency partners and technology vendors. 

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform brand positioning, marketing efforts, and program enhancements. 

• Monitor and analyze program performance data, leveraging insights to refine strategies and ensure continuous improvement. 

• Ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints, including digital, in-store, and advertising channels. 

• Manage and allocate budgets for brand and loyalty programs, optimizing spend to meet strategic objectives. 

• Lead the development of metrics and KPIs to track and report on the effectiveness of loyalty programs and brand strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Fine Arts, Design, Communications, or a related field OR equivalent work experience required.

• 12+ years of experience in creative direction, design, or advertising with a focus on branding and digital marketing. 

• 7+ years of experience in managing creative teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.

• Demonstrated expertise in leading and delivering high-impact, multi-channel creative campaigns on time and within budget. 

• Strong proficiency in design tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and familiarity with video and motion graphic tools. 

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all creative outputs. 

• Ability to manage creative resources and budgets effectively, ensuring optimal use of time and materials. 

• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects, demonstrating innovation, strategic thinking, and storytelling. 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategies to senior leadership. 

• Deep understanding of digital marketing trends, user experience design, and customer-centric creative strategies. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to align creative work with business objectives. 

• Proven ability to adapt and innovate in response to changing market conditions, business needs, and creative challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

 • Master’s degree in Marketing, Fine Arts, Design, Communications, or a related field.

• Experience working in a global organization with diverse brands or business units, managing creative teams across different geographic regions. 

• Familiarity with data-driven marketing and the ability to leverage analytics to inform creative strategies and decision-making. 

• Expertise in video production, motion graphics, and interactive design, with a portfolio showcasing work in these areas. 

• Experience with UX/UI design principles and the integration of design thinking into the creative process. 

• Proven track record of successfully managing external agencies, vendors, and contractors to deliver creative projects. 

• Knowledge of emerging digital platforms and trends, including social media, AR/VR, and experiential marketing.

• Experience in leading creative for large-scale product launches, brand repositioning, or high visibility campaigns. 

• Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Jira for tracking progress and ensuring timely delivery of creative projects. 

• Ability to navigate and influence in a matrixed organizational structure, balancing the needs of various stakeholders while maintaining creative integrity. 

• Certification or advanced training in leadership development, team management, or creative project management.
