Our marketing team is charged with an important task – sharing our Staples story. We use customer data and analytics to help us understand and improve our customers’ experiences, drive customer retention and encourage brand loyalty. Our team is diverse, with skillsets and responsibilities ranging from graphic design, content creation and performance marketing to internal communications and loyalty & rewards programs. We work together to provide expertise and guidance, so that the Staples brand is well represented in all areas.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conceive and execute innovative print, direct mail, interactive collateral, signage, and digital content that aligns with our strategic vision.
- Work closely with art directors, designers, project managers, and other creatives in Marketing to determine and deliver on the brand’s messaging needs, selling concepts, and strategies.
- Develop and guide creative ideas born from project input, team brainstorming, and your own research.
- Regularly report project status to the Associate Creative Director and manage your workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
What you bring to the table:
- Expertise in translating innovative concepts into finished copy for print, direct mail, interactive, collateral material, and social channels.
- Ability to write in a variety of styles while maintaining high creative standards to elevate the Staples brand.
- Consistent delivery of “big ideas” that inspire and engage.
- Collaborative spirit—work productively and harmoniously within a team of art directors, designers, project managers, and production professionals.
- Clear and effective verbal and visual communication skills, both independently and within creative teams.
- Proven conceptual thinker with the talent to communicate brand strengths in a fresh, memorable way.
- Confidence presenting ideas to teammates, clients, and senior creative leaders.
- Strong background in all media types.
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of related work experience in creative copywriting.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
