Our team is diverse, with skillsets and responsibilities ranging from graphic design, content creation and performance marketing to internal communications and loyalty & rewards programs. We work together to provide expertise and guidance, so that the Staples brand is well represented in all areas.

We are seeking a highly organized Project Manager to support Omni Customer Marketing initiatives across the customer journey. This role drives execution of targeted, multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, push) focused on onboarding, post-purchase, and retention.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with Manager, Omni Customer Marketing to develop and execute coordinated marketing campaigns targeting users across the customer journey to drive growth and retention.

  • Own the flawless execution of strategic targeted marketing initiatives within owned channels (email, SMS & Push notifications), with an emphasis on onboarding, post-purchase, real-time triggers, and Print & Marketing Services initiatives. 

  • Communicate, collaborate & coordinate efficiently and effectively with internal and external partners throughout all stages of campaign planning & execution. 

  • Consistently manage the go-to-market process across multiple projects, prioritizing appropriately and pivoting as needed.

  • Maintain all schedules, process and procedures associated with campaign execution (pre-campaign planning, creative briefing, hand-off to marketing operations, etc.)

  • Draft creative briefs for creative team, collect and provide feedback, proof all materials prior to deployment, and give final approval.

  • Identify & escalate issues that could impact timelines, dependencies, customer experience and/or budget.

  • Leverage program metrics and customer data to measure campaign effectiveness to  continuously improve campaigns within a test & learn framework.

  • Manage updates within existing campaigns in pursuit of message excellence, including fielding inbound requests for support from merchandising, Staples Media Network & other internal teams within targeted marketing campaigns.

What you bring to the table:

  • Detail oriented, highly organized individual with strong project management skills

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written

  • Highly collaborative individual with a strong sense of individual ownership - Ability to work well independently and within a team setting 

  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines at one time while adjusting quickly to changing priorities and campaign timelines

  • Background in customer lifecycle marketing and program execution within a test/learn framework preferred

Qualifications:

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related work experience

  • 2+ years of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • 2+ years of Omni Marketing Knowledge

What’s needed – Preferred Qualifications:

  • Email/CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot) 
  • Project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira) 
  • Advance Microsoft Excel (e.g. reporting tools)
