The Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business applications using Microsoft's Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. This role translates business needs into technical solutions, automates workflows, enhances reporting capabilities, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The developer collaborates closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions are delivered, while maintaining alignment with enterprise technology standards.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design, develop, and deploy applications and workflows using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate (Flow), Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Requirement Gathering: Partner with stakeholders to analyze business needs, identify opportunities for automation, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • ·Integration: Integrate Power Platform solutions with existing systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and other enterprise tools) to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Data Visualization: Create insightful Power BI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making for operational processes.
  • Maintenance & Support: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Power Platform solutions to ensure performance, scalability, and user satisfaction.
  • Best Practices: Adhere to governance, security, and compliance standards for Power Platform development, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable.
  • Training & Documentation: Provide training to end-users and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions.
  • Innovation: Stay updated on Power Platform advancements and propose innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Customize, configure, and extend Microsoft Dataverse and integrate solutions with other systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Azure).
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Optimize existing solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Develop and maintain clear technical documentation for applications, workflows, and integrations.
  • Implement governance and best practices to ensure security, reliability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Support troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of application issues.
  • Collaborate with IT, security, business analysts, and end users to continuously enhance solutions based on feedback and evolving needs.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies(Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Proven track record in business process automation and application development.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and integrations (SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365).
  • Proficiency in Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents).
  • Knowledge of Dataverse, connectors, and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Power Fx, JavaScript) and data modeling.
  • Understanding of SQL, DAX, or similar for data manipulation and reporting.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate or related certifications.
  • Experience with Power Platform ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) practices.
  • Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps) and APIs.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 customizations and integration.
  • Exposure to agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • 3+ years of experience developing business solutions using low-code/no-code platforms.
