Our team is diverse, with skillsets and responsibilities ranging from graphic design, content creation and performance marketing to internal communications and loyalty & rewards programs. We work together to provide expertise and guidance, so that the Staples brand is well represented in all areas.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop coordinated, targeted campaigns across sales and marketing to drive acquisition, growth, and retention.
  • Map existing customer experience and make recommendations/implement improvements across lifecycle touch points across all channels.
  • Understand and develop briefs, timelines, and budgets to meet objectives.
  • Foster partnerships with sales, marketing operations, paid media, site, creative team, and customer analytics to develop and activate innovative, impactful, and efficient sales and marketing strategies.
  • Review and evolve tactics based on areas of opportunity with clear and compelling value propositions.
  • Closely collaborate and partner on the annual planning process for Customer Marketing.
  • Help Prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
  • Create a pipeline of testing and learning, with clear goals and actions based on test results. 
  • Oversee the tactical execution of plans, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Drive development of measurement plans/KPIs in partnership with customer analytics. Drive post-campaign analysis and action plan.
  • Leverage program metrics, customer-level data, research, and customer feedback to measure program effectiveness and to continuously improve campaigns.
  • Create a pipeline of innovative tests and learn plan. Execute and refine.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented thought process
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and creative problem-solving activities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to articulate the most important business questions and develop recommendations and action plans based on data.
  • Proactive, self-directed individual with proven ability to manage multiple projects, balancing strategy with day-to-day execution.
  • Team-orientation, with an affinity for influencing and working across functions in a dynamic often-changing environment.
  • Creative thinking, speed to market and desire to test new things and drive new ways and processes.
  • Innovative, results-oriented, strong customer-centric outlook.
  • Ability to keep initiatives moving on time, on budget, and with attention to detail. Able to foresee and prevent problems in advance and fix any issues quickly.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years marketing experience

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferably in Marketing or Communications
  • Previous experience with B2B or Retail Marketing
