The Finance Shared Services (FSS) Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs related to accounts receivable (AR) processes and systems. This role ensures that the Finance Shared Services team members are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to efficiently manage collections, invoicing, dispute resolution, and compliance. The FSS Trainer will collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs, develop instructional materials, and facilitate training sessions that enhance process adherence, operational efficiency, and overall team performance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop, implement, and facilitate training programs for Finance Shared Services processes, systems, and best practices.
- Create training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, job aids, and process documentation.
- Conduct training sessions via in-person workshops, virtual webinars, and on-the-job coaching.
- Assess and analyze training needs by working closely with FSS leadership and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor training effectiveness and knowledge retention through assessments, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Provide ongoing support and mentoring to FSS team members to ensure process adherence and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT, finance, and other departments to ensure training aligns with updated systems, policies, and regulations.
- Assist in identifying process improvements and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes to keep training content relevant.
- Document training activities and maintain training records for audit and compliance purposes.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field or relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Account Receivable operations, financial training, or corporate learning & development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- 2yrs of experience in creating and delivering training content.
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a training or learning & development role within a finance or AR department.
- Experience working with AR software such as SAP or Oracle
- Professional certification in training or accounts receivable (e.g., Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist, CPTD).
- Experience with e-learning platforms and virtual training tools.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance related to accounts receivable.
