What you will be doing:
As a Claims Investigation Associate, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating the fair and defensible resolution of automobile, general liability, and workers’ compensation claims. Drawing on your analytical skills, you will research, analyze, and preserve digital evidence—primarily CCTV video and telematics data—to ensure accurate, timely support for internal claims professionals, outside counsel, and store-level partners. You will retrieve, review, catalogue, and safeguard a wide range of evidence, analyze footage and metadata for liability and fraud indicators, and document findings in dedicated databases to drive impactful outcomes.
Your responsibilities include managing third-party field investigations, supporting discovery and litigation processes, facilitating prompt scene preservation with Store Operations and Asset Protection teams, and preparing dashboards on investigation cycle times and fraud savings. You’ll also contribute to ongoing process improvements by learning new technologies and documenting compliant, effective procedures.
This position offers the opportunity to work under general supervision, exercise independent judgement, and collaborate across Claims Adjusters, Legal, Risk Finance, and Store Operations to protect our brand reputation and support profitable growth.

What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED plus relevant technical coursework
- Minimum 2+ year’s experience in claims support, investigations, asset protection, or a related role
- Proven ability to retrieve and preserve video evidence from CCTV and telematics platforms (e.g., Samsara)
- Proficiency in Origami Risk Management Information System (RMIS) or comparable software, and in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specialized schooling or Associate Degree in Risk Management, Criminal Justice, Business, or related field
- Completion of or progress toward industry designations (e.g., AIC, CPCU, CIFI)
- Experience responding to discovery requests and drafting interrogatory answers
- Working knowledge of fraud indicators and SIU referral criteria
- Intermediate SQL or data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau) to support analytics
