What you will be doing:

  • Support the planning and execution of day-to-day social media activities across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
  • Create, schedule, and publish content aligned with campaign plans and established brand guidelines, ensuring accessibility and compliance standards are met.
  • Monitor comments, mentions, and messages on assigned channels, responding professionally using approved templates and escalating sensitive issues as needed.
  • Compile weekly/monthly performance summaries, track basic KPIs, and contribute actionable insights to strengthen community trust and brand presence.
  • Assist in executing social media campaigns, coordinate asset handoffs, and maintain organized asset libraries.
  • Collaborate with internal partners (Marketing, Brand, Creative, PR/Comms, Customer Care) and external vendors or agencies to support content creation and campaign execution.
  • Ensure posts comply with brand standards, platform policies, and internal review workflows; follow established processes for disclosures, privacy, and content usage rights.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to match brand voice and audience tone.
  • Detail-oriented execution and quality control, including links, tags, compliance, and scheduling accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working with feedback and approvals.
  • Curiosity and learning agility to stay ahead of platform trends and best practices.
  • Sound judgment to recognize risk and escalate appropriately.
  • Customer-first orientation and professionalism in public-facing interactions.
  • Ability to interpret and report on basic social metrics and produce recurring reports using platform analytics or dashboards.
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and defined workflows, including review/approval and escalation procedures.

What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience supporting social media or digital marketing initiatives (including internships, co-ops, or freelance/portfolio work).
  • Experience publishing or scheduling content on at least 2 major social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts. 
  • Demonstrated ability to produce platform-ready copy and/or post assets with a portfolio of at least 8 examples: posts, captions, short videos, or campaigns. 
  • Proficiency with common productivity tools (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace) and strong organizational skills.

What’s needed: Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience using social media management tools (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Buffer, Khoros).
  • Basic design or editing skills with examples of short-form video or edited social assets.
  • Exposure to paid social basics and campaign tracking.
  • Experience with community management workflows and handling high volumes of community interactions.
  • Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive content practices.
  • Industry experience relevant to retail, consumer tech, healthcare, or finance.

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.  The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, business considerations, geography, and internal equity.
