Overview:
The Sr Implementation Manager will lead the implementation of customer-facing programs across key business areas—including system integrations, inventory management solutions, IT services programs, and other adjacent initiatives. This role ensures successful onboarding and long-term adoption by aligning technical systems, operational processes, and customer expectations through strong project leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and manage the full implementation lifecycle for a range of customer programs, focusing on procurement system integrations (e.g., cXML/punchout, EDI), inventory management initiatives, and IT services solutions.
- Serve as the primary customer-facing implementation lead, guiding customers through discovery, planning, execution, and go-live across multiple solution tracks.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, engineering, operations, services) and external/third-party partners to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient implementation delivery.
- Drive both system integration and process alignment, ensuring customer workflows are supported by scalable, repeatable implementation practices and implementation practices support customer workflows.
- Lead customer discovery to assess needs across multiple solution areas, identifying opportunities to optimize scope and connect adjacent programs when applicable.
- Create and refine implementation playbooks, best practices, and enablement tools to scale program delivery across varied customer needs.
- Support a clean transition to post-implementation support and customer success teams to ensure long-term satisfaction and program sustainability.

- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, enabling effective coordination among internal teams, customers, and third-party partners to achieve shared goals and resolve challenges.
- Strategic problem-solving and independent judgment in navigating ambiguity, making critical decisions, and adapting processes to meet unique client needs and business objectives.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management, fostering trust, transparency, and alignment across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
What’s needed - Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, project management, computer science, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, implementation, consulting, or a similar role, with a proven track record of leading complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Prior project management experience with the ability to oversee multiple, cross-functional projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating across departments and engaging with clients, technical teams, and leadership.
- Prior experience identifying process improvements, managing risks, and troubleshooting issues during the implementation lifecycle.
What’s needed - Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in implementation, project management, or solution delivery within a technology reseller, services provider, or similar environment.
- Strong familiarity with procurement system integrations (e.g., ERP, eProcurement, punchout), inventory management workflows, and IT services delivery models.
- Proven ability to lead multi-threaded implementation projects that span technical systems and operational processes.
- Excellent customer communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally and with third-party partners or platforms.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and balance multiple priorities with clarity and structure.
