The Sales Engineer Coordinator plays an important role in executing Staples’ go-to-market strategy, working directly with internal and external customers to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new customers, reliable connectivity with key internal stakeholders, and efficient workflow production for the broader Sales Engineering organization.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide analytical and operational support, including facilitation of third-party vendor invoices and payments, documentation management, customer PO-issue resolution, and ad hoc tasks for complex customer projects.
- Manage and facilitate engagement between internal stakeholders and designated subject matter experts within Sales Engineering, ensuring all requests are prioritized and SLAs are consistently achieved.
- Execute projects in accordance with the Sales Engineering playbook, mitigating unnecessary complexity and promptly escalating any out-of-scope requests.
- Lead internal and customer-facing project calls, collaborate directly with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and project delivery.
- Serve as the central point of contact between teams such as Sales, Development, IT, Customer Support, and external clients, identifying roadblocks and mobilizing resources as needed.
- Support business developers by coordinating non-selling and support activities throughout the implementation process.
- Orchestrate post-implementation efforts to ensure a smooth customer experience and rapid achievement of forecasted revenue and profitability goals.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Demonstrated ability to balance queue-based work and projects simultaneously; adaptable to independent and collaborative work settings.
- Effective time management skills with a focus on prioritizing requests and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A customer-centric approach with the ability to understand and deliver on internal and external client needs.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and technical processes, including Salesforce, Postman, Service Now, XML Submitter, and direct collaboration with our 150+ third-party vendors
- Exceptional communication abilities for effective documentation and teamwork.
- Customer-focused mindset for delivering tailored solutions.
- Ability to efficiently learn and navigate technical systems and tools.
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Availability to work 8a-5pm local time.
- Proficiency in balancing queue-based work and projects; adaptable to varying work styles.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills to ensure service level agreements are met.
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree.
- Proficiency in Monday.com
- Proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, Word, Nexus and AS400 (Sunrise) functionality
