Lead transformative AI/ML-driven pricing strategies and revenue optimization as Senior Product Data Manager, AI/ML Pricing Strategy within Staples Enterprise Data and AI group. In this pivotal role, you'll harness cutting-edge data solutions to shape business success, enhance pricing models, and drive measurable impact across the organization. By leveraging analytics and AI-powered insights, you'll enable dynamic decision-making, maximize profitability, and advance a data-driven culture that fosters innovation and growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategic roadmap for leveraging AI/ML-driven pricing models to enhance business success and profitability.
- Lead initiatives to transform the organization into a data-driven culture, promoting AI-powered decision-making and pricing strategies across all levels.
- Oversee the delivery of internal analytical products, including AI-enhanced dynamic pricing models, self-service analytics, and ad-hoc reporting tools to support data-driven revenue optimization.
- Develop strategies to optimize customer data through AI-powered segmentation, creating a seamless omnichannel customer experience while maximizing pricing effectiveness.
- Engage with executives and cross-functional teams to align AI/ML pricing strategies with broader business growth objectives.
- Stay current with industry trends and implement new AI/ML-driven pricing optimization technologies, including Generative AI, predictive analytics, and real-time pricing adjustments.
- Spend time with customers to identify patterns and trends, driving the design and development of innovative AI-powered pricing models and data products.
- Assist with sprint planning and backlog management to align AI/ML pricing insights with business objectives.
- Act as the primary link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and project alignment on AI/ML-driven pricing strategies.
What you bring to the table:
- Solid understanding and experience of data functions and business operations in the following areas: AI/ML-powered pricing optimization, Data Engineering, Data Analytics & Insights, Application and deployment of AI/ML products, Operational Excellence, Performance Metrics & KPI’s, Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication.
- Proven experience in a leadership role focused on data strategy, AI, ML, and dynamic pricing models.
- Hands-on experience in developing and leading data science organizations focused on AI-driven pricing and profitability strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of AI-enhanced pricing frameworks, data governance, and analytics methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, machine learning-driven data exploration, and BI Tools (e.g., Power BI) for pricing analytics and revenue forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams in AI-driven product pricing strategy.
- Exceptional strategic planning and communication skills with a focus on leveraging AI/ML to drive pricing efficiency and competitive advantage.
What’s needed—Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 10+ years in leading data & analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives, with a track record of successful project delivery.
What’s needed—Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous retail and AI-enhanced eCommerce industry experience is a plus.
