The Senior Analyst Sales Operations – Reporting plays a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the sales organization. This position is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions that define success metrics and track performance against business initiatives. By partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT, you will deliver high-quality insights and process improvements that enhance efficiency and profitability. What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and reports to provide visibility into sales performance, pipeline health, revenue trends, and operational effectiveness.
  • Build and optimize data models and queries using SQL to ensure scalable, accurate, and efficient data delivery.
  • Leverage visualization tools such as Power BI to create structured, easy-to-understand reporting solutions.
  • Partner with business units to define and track success metrics and performance KPIs for sales initiatives.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on sales and operational data to identify opportunities, root causes, and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize ETL tools like Alteryx to streamline data preparation and automation workflows.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, reporting standardization, and self-service analytics enablement.
  • Collaborate with IT and data governance teams to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with corporate standards.
  • Stay current with technology and analytics trends, recommending and implementing new tools that improve insight generation and efficiency.
  • Present analytical findings, performance trends, and actionable recommendations to business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned to support evolving business needs.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, an analytical field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, or sales operations.
  • Proficiency with SQL for data extraction and analysis (complex joins, Common Table Expressions and query optimization)
  • Experience with Power BI and DAX for dashboard development and reporting, data modeling and performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to define KPIs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience building structured end-to-end reporting solutions (data sourcing → modeling → visualization)
  • Ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable business insights.
  • Excel skills, including pivot tables and Power Query

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with forecasting, trend analysis, or predictive analytics 
  • Experience with Alteryx or other workflow automation/data preparation tools.
  • Experience with MS Fabric, Snowflake, Salesforce, or enterprise data warehouse environments.
  • Understanding sales performance metrics, forecasting, and pipeline analytics.
  • Experience with process automation, data governance, or self-service analytics.
  • Prior exposure to project management or continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).

The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The specific base pay may be influenced by a variety of factors to include the candidate's experience, skill set, education, geography, business considerations, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for bonuses, or other forms of variable compensation.
